Fakultet tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu će upisivati studente na teret budžeta ako Ministarstvo za obrazovanje odobri tražene kvote i obezbedi sredstva za troškove, u suprotnom svi se upisuju kao samofinansirajući studenti. Prilikom upisa Fakultet tehničkih nauka sklapa ugovor o studiranju sa svakim studentom.

The aim is to prepare students with an extensive, sound cultural background, providing them with a high degree of flexibility, an open mind and in-depth, innovative competences in specific fields. These students will be capable of independently conducting and managing both theoretical and applied research activities, contributing greatly to maintaining and advancing scientific and technological knowledge at international level. They will also be capable of designing and building complex IT systems, developing innovative IT applications and transferring their knowledge to the private sector, thus contributing to consolidating and expanding the role played by Italian firms in the global economic scenario.

All postgraduate students must acquire at least 45 credits by taking part in the educational and training activities, with methods for verifying and recognising the credits established by the School’s Governing Board. The activity of academic and training research constitutes the School’s most important commitment and will be conducted by the postgraduate students under the guidance of a tutor.

The aim of the School is to provide students with recognised research and design skills in the area of innovative biotechnologies for the sector of plant production, for both nutritional and non-nutritional purposes, and in the areas of nutritional and agro-nutritional biotechnologies, for the chemistry of the molecules involved in the agricultural and food industry and for the ecology of pest control and xenobiotics. Professional training of this kind can lead to employment in research, in the technology transfer of innovations in public and private research institutes, in firms producing biological raw materials, in biotechnological concerns in the agricultural and food industries, in concerns that preserve and process food products, in food safety and traceability, in the agro-chemical industry, in firms that produce technical supports for such activities and in environmental monitoring, rehabilitation and safety.
