What is the relationship between decentralised care and changes in family relations, why do some interventions contribute to labour force participation among ethnic minorities while others fail, and can sickness absenteeism be reduced through better laws and regulations?
The ‘Social Policy and Social Interventions' Master's programme focuses on changes in the nature and organisation of welfare states in relation to socio-cultural changes, and on the study of various social issues, management processes and communication in organisations, and strategies that can be used to research policy and intervention.
Social issues are studied from an interdisciplinary perspective and graduates of this programme will be able to carry out and evaluate practical and policy-focused research on social policy and social interventions. They will have the academic and professional skills to research, implement, manage and evaluate policy and intervention processes.
In the study of social issues, the focus is on practical and policy-focused research in the fields of employment, social security, welfare, and social services. Attention is also paid to the academic and professional skills necessary for researching, implementing, managing and evaluating policy and intervention processes.
