Master in Design for the Development of the Industrial Product

First level University Master by Politecnico di Milano The Master in " Product Design for Professionale - Design per lo sviluppo del prodotto industriale"
is addressed to graduates and professionals who are interested in specializing in Product Design. The Master will provide the tools to improve the participants' professional skills in the branches of techniques and creativity, with a special attention to projects quality and to the production of the
carried out projects. Design and cooperation with companies is the fundamental point of the education.

MASTER STRUCTURE
The Master is made of lectures, seminars, exercises and workshops divided into four investigation areas:
> big home appliances
> small home appliances
> domotics
> consumption electronics and information technology products

THEMES AND AREAS
The education path is divided into four parts:
> Area 1 - Project Tools Projects by CAD Processes and criteria to develop industrial products of average complexity Workshop Laboratori for the Development of Products
> Area 2 - Technology and Production Production processes and methods Financial evaluation of projects Quality check, certification and License/Patent Issuing Materials and technologies
> Area 3 - Market and Innovation Marketing and communication Tools for the Innovation
> Area 4 - Professional Tools Empowerment English Internship

ADMISSION
The Master is aimed to graduates who took a Laurea Triennale (which corresponds more or less to the Bachelor Degree) in Engineering, Architecture or Industrial Design. The selection takes is based on the evaluation of the curriculum vitae and an interview.

SCHEDULE
The Master will be divided into 480 hours of lectures and 320 hours of internship. The lectures will take place in POLI.design.
