Master of Global Public Policy Program
The Master of Global Public Policy (MGPP) is a two-year master’s degree program launched by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in 2014.
Students come from over a dozen countries around the globe and the world-class faculty also teach at or have advanced degrees from Harvard, Oxford, Columbia, Sorbonne, and other top universities.
The program meets international standards and has been carefully benchmarked to the top graduate-level public policy programs around the world. It is designed to prepare graduates as future leaders and professionals, to address global challenges with sound public policy.
The MGPP program is the first of its kind in Russia and taught entirely in English. It attracts top students and scholars from around the world to Moscow and creates exciting opportunities for Russia’s engagement in the ongoing policy dialogue on our common global future.
Master of Global Public Policy (MGPP) degree program is a two-year master’s degree that meets international standards and has been carefully benchmarked to the top graduate-level public policy programs around the world. It has three elements: a core curriculum, two concentrations, and a final project.
The deadlines for submitting applications for the September 2017 admission class will be July 15, 2017 (for international applicants) and August 18, 2017 (for Russian applicants). However, serious applicants should be in touch with the MGPP program team and should plan to submit their materials as early as possible.
Application Documents Required:
- Curriculum Vitae or Resume
- Personal Statement (1,500 words maximum)
- Official transcripts of all university degree studies
- А document certifying your English language proficiency – a minimum of 6.5 according to the IELTS scale or 80 – TOEFL or a comparable level measured in other European exam/testing systems (see European conversion table). Native English speakers or graduates of degree programs delivered entirely in English are exempt*
- Two letters of recommendation
- Photocopy of main page of passport

In special cases, we will invite you for an online interview or let you take the English Language Proficiency Test at RANEPA.
MGPP tuition and scholarships 2017-2019.
For international students:
The tuition fee for the MGPP Program is USD $7,500 per year (USD $15,000 for the whole degree or USD $3,750 per semester for each of the four semesters of the degree program). For qualified candidates, scholarship awards for the FULL TWO-YEAR PROGRAM are available on a competitive basis in the following amounts:
